Slow Art Day

at 10:00–17:00

An international event encouraging people to look at art slowly. Spend time relaxing and enjoying art – art always has time for you. Admission is included in the museum entrance fee, with a Museum Card or with the Friends of the Ateneum membership card.

10:00–17:00 Take your time: The Ateneum has chosen five works from the Stories of Finnish Art exhibition, and has added seats next to them for quiet viewing. Choose a work and look at it for 5 to 10 minutes, slowly and in silence.

At 11:00–14:00, a non-stop workshop (workshop space, second floor). The theme is New beginnings and the technique used is watercolour painting. Read more about non-stop workshops
