On arrival

Support persons

Admission to the Ateneum Art Museum is free for assistants, interpreters and support persons for people with disabilities.

An accessible entrance

An accessible entrance with a lift is located on the Ateneuminkuja side of the museum. Wheelchairs are available for loan from the cloakroom closest to the back door entrance. Wheelchairs can’t be reserved in advance.

Guide and service dogs

Guide and service dogs are welcome in the Ateneum.

In the museum

Lift

The lift to the upper floors is located near the toilets. In the collections exhibition A Question of time there is a lift from gallery 2.8 to main gallery 2.9 (The Age of Nature).

Raised plans

Raised plans of the Ateneum building are located at the ticket selling hall and the cloakroom.

Induction loops

Induction loops are installed in the ticket sales hall and in the Ateneum Hall.

Magnifying glasses

Magnifying glasses are available for loan at the information desk.

Accessible toilets

A wheelchair-accessible toilet is located on the first floor.
